This research work is on causes of business failure and possible solutions with a case study of Faith printing press, Uyo. business failure is when a firm is suffering from either technical insolvency or bankruptcy or when it happens that a firms total revenue do not cover its total cost , this can be avoided by finding solutions to business failure by way of managing recourses in a proper way. It is in view of this that a research work as this was undertaken.

The study of the role of government agencies towards the development of small scale enterprises is quite interesting. These enterprise have a very important impact on the life of everybody in the society. Small independence business are everywhere and in every line of work, they can also be seen in every community. This business is as old as man. So virtually everything is done in life involved the element of business. Small scale enterprise constitutes an importance in todays business activities or system. The role of small scale enterprise in our economic history however, has been one of the distribution and contribution.

The main objective of this study is to critically look into the activities of those multinational corporation in their host nations mostly developing nations if their existence has positive or negative impact on the development of the host country.

Over the years, one major aim of most organizations in Ghana is to improve on their financial performances through effective and efficient accounting and finance practices. Financial performance of every organization in recent times have gained top priority, as most users of accounting and financial statement have developed indents in the financial position of the organization in question. Stakeholders of every organization need to know the financial performance of their organization, hence the need for managers to improve the financial position of the organization they manage. Assessing the financial position of an organization is the first step for organizations who want to improve their financial performances. After assessment, control measures are now established to correct deviations, and improve financial performance. The overview of the manufacturing industry in Ghana is explored including the various types of manufacturing organizations of which Unilever Company Limited is part. However, this research was undertaken to help assess the financial performance of manufacturing organizations for the periods, 2008, 2009 and 2010 using Unilever Company Limited as a case study.

The analysis of financial disclosed that although investors and performance evaluation analysis reliced on financial statement in the decision and appraisal. The reliability of financial reports especially during inflation as in currently prevalent is not assured as a result of the historical cost convention as a basis for asset valuation; consequently, the use of these reports now in decision-making may lead to inadequate decisions.

This project work is carried out to examine the contribution of micro finance banks to the development of Small and medium scale enterprises in Nigeria. The Brass micro finance bank is used as a case study. Data were collected through a well structured questionnaire and the information elicited from the respondents were analyzed through tabular presentation of data, frequency distribution and percentages. The findings revealed that Microfinance banks have contributed immensely to the development of small scale business in Nigeria and most especially Small Business Ventures. However, it was discovered that the small scale businesses are beset with myriads of problems which can be solved through an improvement in the service of Micro finance banks by the government.

The research provides an assessment of the impact of stock management on the Performance of an organization. It analyses the nature of stock and profer principles and measures required for effective stock management. The research portrays the significance of stock management and its impact on the performance On the organization. It provides a case study of the impact of stock management On the performance of Nigerian bottling company plc.

The resource-based views and ideologies has in modern times form the basis for the competitive advantage of a firm. This lies primarily in the application of a bundle of valuable tangible or intangible resources at the firm's disposal (Wernerfelt, 1984; Rumelt, 1984; Penrose, 1959). To transform a short-run competitive advantage into a sustained competitive advantage requires that these resources which are heterogeneous in nature and not perfectly mobile (Peteraf, 1993). Effectively, this translates into valuable resources that are neither perfectly imitable nor substitutable without great effort through inter-firm cooperation (Barney, 1991).

Every organization doing exceedingly well on the face of the earth rely heavily on budgets, and budgetary control measures to improve performance, through adequate resource allocation. Budget and Budgetary control, both at management and operational level looks at the future and lays down what has to be achieved. Control checks whether or not the plans are realized, and puts into effect corrective measures where deviation or shortfall is occurring. This study identifies the link between budget and budgetary control and performance of the selected organization in Ghana, as considered in this study, being a sample of the entire population of the organizations in Ghana.

The study was based on descriptive analysis of the motivational forces in service Industries, the case of PHCN, Uyo. The chapter is divided into five (5) parts, The first chapter dealt with the general introduction of the research findings, the second chapter dealt with the research finding made in the course of the investigations, the third part dealt with researcher’s recommendation based on investigation while the fourth part will make the conclusion. Finally the fifth part will provide suggestions for further studies.
